Our People’s Candidate

I, ISSA TCHIROMA BAKARY,

Candidate in the presidential election of October 12, 2025, nominated by the FSNC party, respond positively to the call of the Cameroonian People for unity within a broad coalition built around a Common Program for Transition and National Rebuilding, carried by a Consensus Candidate of the People.

I have had the honor of being chosen by the members of the Union for Change 2025 (UPC 2025) as the People’s Consensus Candidate.

I solemnly commit to:

Rise above personal and partisan interests to promote the Common Program for Transition and National Rebuilding.
Lead the electoral campaign as the head of a collegial team made up of all UPC 2025 members.
Give the people a voice by convening National Assemblies and Socio-Professional Conferences, whose resolutions will enrich the Common Program for Transition and National Rebuilding.
Form a Government of National Union for Transition and Rebuilding, with a 3-year mandate to implement the Common Program.
Organize general elections at the end of the Transition period and not run again for the presidency.
